Janice Clayton strives to design unique spaces that will have a positive impact on her clients’ lives.  With more than fifteen years of extensive and considerable experience in commercial and residential, she possesses an innate desire to create and design interiors that exceed clients’ expectations.  With an eye for quality, a superior sense of style, and client-centered approach to business, Janice Clayton has proven herself as an innovative designer also delivering cost effective solutions and constructability.

 

Janice worked in Toronto with Interior Design firms, Donald Bell Design and O’Neill Design Group.  She has led small to large scale retail and commercial projects from 1000 sq.ft to 15,000 sq.ft.  She over saw complete project from design development to construction.

 

Janice moved to Calgary from Toronto with her family in 2006, where She began working with KLR Design Group and eventually embraced her entrepreneur spirit, founding JC Interior Design.  Her mission is to assist both residential and commercial clients in creating timeless spaces.  Whether classic or contemporary across a vast range of styles, Janice balances colour, materials, texture and lighting to create a space that reflects her clients’ personalities and suits their design needs.  Working in collaboration with architects, engineers and builders to execute her vision, she takes each project very personally.

 

Great design, whether personal or commercial properties, begin with a comprehensive understanding of clients’ needs and expectations.  Janice’s ability to develop client relationship is based on respect, trust, and confidence has been the key to her success as a designer.

 

Janice Clayton is a graduate of the Ontario College of Art and Design four year Environmental Design Program from Toronto.   In her spare time, you can find her spending time with her family in the mountains.
